Kublacon 2017 - An Overview

Hi All,

Over Memorial Day weekend my son and I attended Kublacon in Burlingame CA. It was the first real con for both of us and it was super fun.

In usual SWC style, I made a comic about it.

So there you have it. It was a fantastic weekend of gaming and sleep deprivation. We made some new friends and hope to do it again next year.

      It cost a fair amount, but we gamed until we dropped. It was super fun and we met a great group of guys.

    Nice treatment and awesome looking games! Looks like a blast. Sadly I missed Kublacon for the first time in ten years as I got really sick the day before my flight and had to cancel it. Real bummer. But many of the games shown are run by good friends of mine. The Saturday Necromunda game, the Warmaster, the necromunda setup at the bottom, and perhaps some of the Mordheim too. We're the guys that keep Necromunda alive at Kublacon and beyond. Cheers, though was sad to miss, got the vicarious thrills from your picks.

      Thanks Ryder, sorry you didn't make it. Tim ran Battle Fleet Gothic, Tyler ran Warmaster and Mordheim and open gaming Necromunda, Clark ran the massive Necromunda game.

    Looks to me like you had an awesome Khaaaaaaaaaaaan! Awesome tables and games. That Mordheim and Necromunda game looked sweet. I hope Monolith Khan can be just as good. LOL

      We did have a great time Airborne. More Oldhammer than I dared to dream of. Maybe I'll run you guys through Necromunda or Shadow War.
