Hi All,
I showed you what was on the table yesterday here. I wanted to share the finished Knights with you all today. Since there was some discussion of editing photos, I'll show the edited and unedited versions. I took these with my cellphone.
We were also instructed to share a picture of our army thus far, since we are at the midway point in the challenge.
So there you have it. My editing is mostly cropping and then adjusting highlights and shadows to reduce the contrast. Lightroom is the fanciest thing I use. Otherwise these are just a cellphone and some desk lamps.
Cheers.
Beautiful figures...and most impressive knights!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil.
DeleteHeraldry presents challenges and you've met them with seeming grace and ease. Really wonderful-looking bunch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ryder. I got there in the end, but it wasn't pretty.
DeleteBeautiful work sir!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michal.
DeleteFantastic work Sean & great paint-job !! I love your army picture !
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Thanks Mario. The organizers had the idea to take a picture of everything we've painted to date.
DeleteVery pretty, just like fantasy knights ought to be :-) .
ReplyDeleteMuch nicer than my own versions, I think (though mine were some of the first 28mm figures I ever painted).
Hi Hugh, thanks. I think yours look very good, especially if they were early paints.
DeleteThose Knights are great! And fortunately you are building for earlier WHFB, so you do not need to paint another 30 of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks LGP. Yeah just 3 more +1 elites and the guy leading them for my cavalry contingent.
DeleteIf you did end up painting another 30, I have some pike-men and cannon that would love to make their acquaintance!
DeleteMan, those look smashing Sean! Empire v Bret's is a game I'd love to spectate at.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dai. I don't know if anyone in this challenge normally comes to any events with Empire.
