Hi all,
A few days ago Justin over at The Royalist Roundhead posted about his terrible real life luck lately and his solution for uplifting his spirits a little bit in his post here.
Knights of the Dinner Table rings a bell somewhere deep in my subconscious but I'm not sure I've seen it before. I didn't quite get the comic that Justin linked to, I felt like I was coming in in the middle so here's a link to a random one that seemed funny to me.
So pop on over to Justin's blog to say hi or give him a show of support. He's a thoughtful and interesting guy. And if you feel inclined to subscribe to KODT tell 'em Justin sent ya.
Bloody sad news, been following Justin quite a while!
ReplyDeleteYeah Fran, I'm hoping he'll keep his chin up. He's had it tough of late.
DeleteWell, I know little or nothing about the bloke, but he certainly can write. It's a good read, despite the circumstances and well worth following.
ReplyDeleteYou'd imagine that anyone who writes a blog will have at least a reasonable command of his or her native tongue, but I'm always impressed at the quality of the stuff on these blogs.
Hi Gary, he has a ton of really good ideas he just doesn't have the time to do all them at the moment.
DeletePoor Justin does seem to be having a rather long run of bad luck!
ReplyDeleteHi Ray, sort of puts bad dice luck in perspective.
DeleteThanks Andrew.
ReplyDeleteVery nice of you to link RR's site. I feel for the man and can tell his has a very strong spirit. The things he went through would've broken me. Warm Regards, Dean
ReplyDeleteYeah just thought maybe some words of encouragement would be nice.
DeleteThank you Sean and everyone for you comments here and also on my blog. My sons are with my through Sunday afternoon, this weekend, so I have been away from my computer. I have a new post and replies to comments that I will take care of once I drop my sons off with their mother. Apart from my own situation, I am sure we each have friends and associates who would benefit from kindnesses from us.
ReplyDeleteNo problem Justin. Just trying to show some support. And good idea to help others who may need some sort of kindness etc.
DeleteSaw he blog a while ago but didn't follow. Just rethought this after reading some of the motivational stuff. And I love the beard (and the hat)! Thanks for pointing it out.
ReplyDeleteHi Paradox0n. Yes Justin has not only a great imagination and ability to convey his thoughts, but also a great sense of style.
