How to report SPAM Google profiles

Hi All,

I've got a lot of stuff to do, but these spammers just pissed me off. I think I just got 6 or so emails from comments on my blog and a couple that I've commented on.

These pricks leang heng and phann son have been posting links to something that looks like it is written in Thai. Anyway it looks like spam and it's annoying.

So I reported them. I also made a video t show how to report them.

I've got to go do all the other stuff I needed to do today.

Later.

    1. Hi Roy, I may have seen some of these before I got enraged enough to start reporting. I'll take a look and see if I can report them. Reported on Choo Say and kaka small. The others that I didn't know about didn't come up.

    2. Yes, I've been doing as you have for the last few days. As pulpcitizen says, its a pity blogger can't block the activity like you're able to do with G+, but I suppose that if enough of us report an account it should get deleted sooner rather than later.

  3. I have been getting a couple of spammers from that list; I find it odd that blogger itself as a platform cannot have a block list or at least not one I can find.

    1. There is an option to block profile in that drop down menu Sean just showed. Off to try it.

    2. It only blocks the account from commenting on your posts or tagging you on G+, as even though I've blocked one of the offenders It's still able to spam my blog. Unless I'm doing it wrong.

I've only been spammed twice, so I wonder if having set my comments to requiring blog owner's approval before publishing has helped?

    3. Hi pulpcitizen. I did not fully explore all the options on the list. Blocking can be one solution, but I think we need to as a group report these spammers for what they are.

  7. Excellent! I think that quite a few of us have been pestered by these guys recently. Let's hope that reporting them actually makes a difference...

    1. Glad to help Hugh. I don't know if it will do any good, but at least I feel proactive.

  8. Top Stuff Sean. Only one of the above is commenting on my site, but he's doing it to a handful of my posts every day and as you say, annoying is an understatement!!

    1. No problem Blaxkleric. I've been noticing that these accounts will just land on a blog and comment on a bunch of posts. Since I have also commented and subscribed I'm seeing them, in addition to their comments on my own blog.
