Where I'm at in the AHPCV in the final week free for all

Just an update as we enter the final week of The Challenge.

As you can see it looks like I'm not going to hit my projected goal of 1000 points of painted miniatures. I think I may be able to squeeze out another 96 and make the third points tier of 750.

For some reason I seem unable to dedicate time to the hobby regularly. As you can see from the weekly points graph, I had too many (every other) weeks where I submitted nothing. So something to strive for. We'll see what I can do but I'm going to be fairly busy this week.

Wish me luck.

  1. I try to spend small, regular chunks of time on painting, rather than setting aside an entire evening or afternoon. If I can get 5 or 10 minutes before leaving for work in the morning and similar blocks several other similar sessions later in the day then it soon adds up. Sometimes all I get done in one slot is to spray undercoat on 3 or 4 models, but it's still progress...

    1. Hi Hugh. That is what I should do. I have a tendency to put things off until they become critical. I then have to knuckle down and work so hard, I don't want to do it again for weeks or months. Yard work comes to mind at the moment.
